Historical Significance of Masjid Addas

Masjid Addas is a name that vibrates deeply within the hearts of many Muslims across the world. It traces its roots back to the early days of Islam. It is situated in Taif valley. The place of masjid belongs to Idas , a jews. He was a Christian slave who played a critical role in the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Addas offered the Prophet (PBUH) shelter, he used to provide grapes to the Prophet in Taif. Over the centuries, masjid’s architecture was being changed. Now it is in its best appearance.

Design and Structure

The design of Masjid Addas is a pleasant symbol of conventional Islamic architecture and modern elements. It has spacious hall and so many rooms are there to study. It has an excellent library as well. The mosque beautiful minars and calligraphy that reach towards the heavens.

In addition to worship, Masjid Addas serves as an educational and cultural center as well. there fore one has to give respect to others belives and bear with patience if ome one criticise.
